Brief Answer:
Could you please provide some more information regarding your concern?

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in ask the Doctor

As you explain the situation there might be several factors to cause it.
For example in that region, it is the lower airways such as the trachea that might cause pain and cough in viral situations or difficulty in breathing in allergic patients. The pain might be also from the sternum which is the bone in that region.
So in order, I can help you more I need some more specific information regarding your concern such as the time of pain, if you have any other signs and symptoms that accompany the pain, do you smoke, are you allergic to something, and so on. Please provide some more information and i will try to help you more specifically

Thank you and hope to have been helpful

Brief Answer:
Please take painkillers and see how will be the pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

According to your age and the type of pain as you explain it might be from bones or muscles in that region. You can take painkillers such as paracetamol or Ibuprofen orally twice per day for some day. If the pain does not go away or gets worse than it would be better for you to be seen closely by your doctor just for safety.
