After going through the medical query raised by you I would like to tell you that both are completely different group of antihypertensive medications and the dosage of these two drugs cannot be compared in such a manner as they both differs in their pharmacokinetics as well as pharmacodynamics.

Metoprolol is a beta blocker and amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker.
