Brief Answer:
Causes of itchy scrotum

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query.
There are multiple causes of itching on the scrotum.
It could be due to lichen simplex chronicus which is a chronic type of eczema, due to allergic reaction to any medicine or any synthetic and tight underwear.
It could also be due to mite infection like scabies.
I would recommend you to take antihistaminic like tablet chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg once or twice daily depending on the intensity of itching and apply topical steroid like cortisone cream on the affected areas twice daily for 7-10 days.
If it doesn’t improve the itching in a week’s time consult a doctor and get it examined.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
