Brief Answer:
Take anti inflammatory drugs

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think that pain in your leg and the feeling of stretching veins may be related to tendinitis.
Anti inflammatory medications such ibuprofen may be helpful. Also put your leg at rest and avoid movement.
Put cold compresses on the ankle.
If it doesn't get better you may need further evaluation such a x-ray and an ultrasound of the ankle.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
