I m neha..I had sex vd my bf at 19th june nd I hv taken I pill within 3hrs.. then I find my period to strt agn ftr four days. though alreadii I hd my periods this month.. is there any chance of pregnancy. . Itz quit urgnt fr me to knw..cn u please tell me..???

Hi,
I understand your concern.
I pill is an emergency contraceptive, & avoids pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of sex ( earlier the better).
The bleeding you had in 4 days of pill was a withdrawal bleeding because of high hormones in I pill.
Of course, you don't have risk of conception with sex under reference.
I pill acts by postponing ovulation. So if you are not careful in following days , you can conceive. Use barrier contraceptive ( condom ) with due care in this month. Start with IUD/ Oral cyclical contraceptive from next month with your doctor's advise. ( I pill is an emergency contraceptive.. and is to be used selectively only in emergency )
