What Does Delayed Period Along With Abdominal Pain Indicate?

The symtom checker didn t really help me out to much. I am having stomach pain that is worse in the morning, worse when i eat certain things and sometimes comes on randomly. I am also feeling period cramps but i take a birth control that allows me not to have my period for 3 months and i am not due for another 2 weeks acording to my pills. What i am wondering is that i had unprotected sex about 2 1/2-3 weeks ago and i had forgotten to take my pill for 2 days after that. I have been taking my pill since then. Could these be signs of pregnancy? What should i do about my birth control if i believe i am pregnant?

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test at home to rule out pregnancy first. if negative, you can continue taking it. If positive, stop taking the pills. Sometimes, cramps can be there due to some vaginal infection also. Get yourself examined by a gynecologist to rule out infections. Stomach pain can be due to gastritis which is also one of the side effects of the pills. You can take some antacids like pantoprazole empty stomach for that. Hope I have answered your question.
