12 Weeks Pregnant, Abdominal Pain, Burning On Urinating, Frequent Stools. Taking Disodium Hydrogen Citrate. Cure?

hello doctor i am 12 weeks pregnant, i have been suffering from abdominal pain n burning micturition for the last two days , with passage of stool every 2 or 3 hrs...took disodium hydrogen citrate solution feeling better but not completely cured, do i neeed to take antibiotic ...pls help me, my age is 26 n my weight 52kg

Hi thanks for your question .
Most probably your suffering from urinary tract infection (UTI) along with enteritis (infection of intestine).Disodium hydrogen citrate is an alkalizer which increases the urinary PH and decreases burning sensation.
There are many antibiotic which are safe in pregnancy.
Get your urine examination done to confirm UTI.
You may need consultation with your gynaecologist,who may prescribe you antibiotic for UTI as well as for entritis.

first of all ,
get gynac check up, for pain may be related to pregnancy. you will require urine and stool tests done. accordingly, must be properly treated.
