We r seeing a cardiologist going for a stress test tomorrow but today at school he had several episodes. I am having him drink more and Gatorade during school. Nobody did blood work to check his sugar etc...
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Cephalic ischemia is a disorder in which blood supply reduces to brain , hence dizziness. Vestibular dysfunction is disorder of 8 th cranial nerve, hence disorder, Hypotension ( reduction in blood pressure due to exertion, wrestling), Hypoglycemia ( reduction in glucose level in body), Dehydration due to loss of water during exertion because of wrestling. Anemia ( less amount of hemoglobin ). palpitation is not due to any diorder ( cardiac disorder) but due to dizziness or vertigo . When any type of anxiety is there , palpitation will occurs. So consult a physician and get in his opinion. Hope I have answered your question. If further any question I will help. Good luck. Dr. HET P
