15yr Old Experiencing Lower Back Pain During Periods. On Depo Shot For Variations In Cycles. Normal?
This is regarding my 15yr old daughter as I am her 38yr old mother, who presently doesn't get a cycle because I get the depo shot, well her cycle varies, perhaps because of her age. She's been getting her cycle since the age of 12, but sometimes there extremely heavy, others times light but most always with lower back pain, is that normal?, being it never happened to me during my time before the shot.
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Heavy or light bleeding is a very common feature of menses so don't worry . If you feel irregular or dysfunctional uterine then it is a cause of concern. It seems you are a very good mother of your daughter so caring is very nice ,but don't take tension . Mild to moderate pain during or just before menses is also common. If daughter feel severe pain give her one pain killer and good IRON diet . Good luck. Dr. HET
