18 Weeks Pregnant. Anemic. Little Bleeding. Reason?

Hey, i am 19 years old and 18 weeks pregnant. Yesterday when i went to wipe after pooping, i noticed some blood on the toilet paper. I dont bleed through out the day nor is it excessive, but i want to know if this is normal? My doctor also informed me last week that im anemic, could tjat have anything to do with it? Or the prenatals? This is my first pregnancy so id appreciate any professional help i can get. Thanks

If you are having any vaginal bleeding, then you need to be cautious. Any sign of heavy bleeding, you need to be examined immediately by your doctor. If you are having any rectal bleeding,it could be due to hemorroids/anal fissures etc. That does happen in pregnancy mostly due to constipation. You can use stool softners to help you with that. Eat lots of leafy vegetables, plenty of fruits and water. If you have Hemoglobin lower than 10, you need to take some active treatment for anemia. Tablets and injections are available.
