18 Year Old Experiencing Tingling, Painful Sensation In Mid-body Region

18 year old experiencing tingling, painful sensation in mid-body region that then seems to penetrate deeper into body toward her back. Lasts for a few minutes, returned 5 times yesterday, and more often today. Some red spots on her body as well. Had some on her arm earlier today, but better now. Did not have chicken pox as child but had vaccine. Recently had iud inserted, but pain is not in region of uterus, it's higher up. Also recently changed bed, bedding. Questioning shingles or allergy, something else?
