Hi,
Thanks for writing to us
You might be having an auto immune condition known as alopecia areata where there is sudden patchy, oval to round loss of hair from scalp. Sometimes it may progress to involve other areas as mentioned by you and is known as alopecia universalis. It can have association with atopy( eczema, running nose, asthma) and arthritis and hence the joint pain. Treatment required in your case should be steroid pulse therapy. I would advise that you meet a dermatologist first so that the diagnosis can be confirmed and further management can be advised. You also need to consult an orthopaedician for pain in hands and legs.

Hope that helps. Take care
