2 Small Bumps In Close Proximity, Sore To Touch And Hard On The Face On Right Side. What To Do ?

Son has set of two small bumps in close proximity linked by and surrounded by a very small area bruise . Sore to touch and noticeable hardness to the two small bumps. (small meaning small pimple size.) bruise area is 3-4x the size of the bumps themselves and the bumps are equidistant. The shape of it is oblong but uniform and the shape would be something like ( - - ) where the bumps are spaced uniformly from each other and on the mid-line of the bruising. This is located on the face on the right side in line with the bottom of where the ear connects with the face and ~ 1.25 inches out onto the face in front of the jaw bone.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi there Olivier.

Thank you for your detailed clinical description that gives one a graphic picture.

However, Dermatology is a visual line & as such, one would prefer a clear digital image of the lesion & you may upload it on this site using the upload data icon to the right of your screen.

As it is a child, it is best to visit a dermatologist nearest you on the ground for best results.

From all accounts, it appears like an insect bite reaction & you may use a topical mometasone furoate-fusidic acid combination cream or a plain hydrocortisone cream that your local pharmacist may be able to help you out with.

Cheers & wish you & your child a safe & speedy outcome.
