Hi,
Thanks for discussing your problem with us.
Normal vaginal secretions increase during pregnancy, but, if it is too much ( e.g. running down the legs & soaking clothes), rupture of your water bag must need to be excluded by doing a Speculum examination & doing an ultrasound to make sure there is normal amount of water in your water bag.
If discharge is foul smelling & associated with itching, it is likely to be due to infection. You may need local medicine to treat infection in this case.
You should also check your blood sugar levels to exclude diabetes.
If you are not satisfied with your doctor's reply you may take a second opinion from another Gynecologist.
Best regards.

Hi,
The vaginal discharge is increased to normal in pregnancy. If the discharge is clear with slight mucus it's normal. It should not be accompanied by itching/burning/ milk or curd like/yellow/green discharge.
The rritation on thighs is mostly due to sweating &friction in two thighes. keeping the area dry & frction free applying micanozole-hydrocortisone ointment locally would suffice.
As the pregnancy proceeds, specially at term-the ammount of vaginal secreations increase normally. Stillthe cleanliness/ & hygine of perinium(routine, after sex, after going to washroom),wearing hojiary-cotton ,nonelastic containing, loose fitting &clean/dry undergarmentsis the way to prevent problematic vaginal discharge.
Take care,
thank you.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Minimal amount of discharge from vagina during pregnancy is physiological, need not have to worry for.
Increased discharge with other symptoms like itching could be due to infection in genital region. need to get examined for that.
Get your blood sugar test done.

As you are mentioned its watery leak, it could be a amniotic fluid leak, get it examined by your doctor.

Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Vidya
