Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concerns. Yes, smoking marijuana has effects on the foetus and it has been documented in case reports that there is a higher risk of having psychoses and other mental health problems in babies that are born to marijuana using mothers. There is also a risk of early childbirth and its associated risks. If you stop your marijuana usage now, there is a chance that you may have a drug free child as well as your tox screen negative for drugs. Please stop using the substance so as to continue to have custody of your child. Consult a psychiatrist in your area for more help.

I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
