Dear DK
thanks for writing to us. if your palpitation (racing heart beat) has resolved now and your doctor does not find anything else abnormal in your ECG, then do not worry because left axis deviation and right bundle branch block both can be normal variants. in fact they do not represent disease of heart in majority of subjects. you should rather concentrate on better control of your BP and diabetes. if feasible maintain regular exercise schedule in consultation with your physician and if you find any chest pain /discomfort or shortness of breath during exercise , please see your cardiologist.
sincerely
The right bundle branch block and left axis deviation - may have several explanations > it may be from the fast rate itself (rate-dependent)! / it may mean defect of conduction, chamber enlargement and so on / could even be a normal variant in some. If the PR interval is normal, it may need nothing but observation / It needs follow up. The total clinical picture must be considered. It is the patient not the ECG, to be treated.
HOLTER (24 to 48 hour ambulatory monitoring) / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation
