6 Weeks Pregnant, Breathless After Walking, Quit Smoking After Pregnancy. Duphaston Side Effect?

Hi,I need OBGYN for help.I am 6 weeks pregnant and i get breathless when i walk a little bit . I used to smoke before getting pregnant as soon as i knew stoped. Does duphaston has to do with it cauze am taking 3 pills a day. Thnxs so much

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Sometimes duphaston can cause breathlessness as a serious side effect.
So you better consult gynecologist immediately.
Usually duphaston tablet once a day is prescribed for maintenance of pregnancy.
And according to FDA it comes under category D drug in pregnancy.
So before continuing the tablet better to confirm this with your doctor.
