6 Weeks Pregnant, Discharge With Blood, Discomfort In Abdomen. Anything To Worry?

AdI am roughly six weeks pregnant and last night had some discharge that was clear with blood in it, some brown and some red, from time I noticed it to time it was gone was about 2 hours. I have had slight intermittent discomfort in abdomen throughout pregnancy but no heavy bleeding, no severe cramps, and no other aches/pains/bleeding. Is this an emergency?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

This is not an emergency. It is common to have bleeding between 4-6 weeks that we associate with "implantation bleeding". That being said, in the presence of bleeding and discomfort, an ultrasound should be performed to make sure that the pregnancy is in the uterus (and not an ectopic pregnancy).

I hope that this helps!
