6 Year Old Having Blurry Vision. Normal Eye Exam Results. Should I Be Concerned?

Hi my 6 years old son has been having blurry vision for 10 months now. 2 eye exam were perfect 20/20 vision. His blurry vision was once a week or less but it got worst and for the past 2-3 weeks has been complaining of blurry vision every day with both eyes. We have another eye exam scheduled but I worried it could be something more serious. Any suggestions what could be the reason?

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

A vision problem in a 6 year old is always diagnosed by objective tests .Since the subjective perception of the boy cannot be judged serious enough to arrive at a diagnosis.

If the tests are normal then there would be no need to worry about the same. But do get his vision checked frequently at least for every 6 months to make sure the health.

Wish you good health.
