76 Year Old Has Vaginal Bleeding, Stomach Bloated. Why Is It ?

Hi, I am concerned about my 76 year Los mother who has been referred for further tests because she has had vaginal bleeding. Her GP says that she can see a polyp on her cervix but she has her fast tracked to be seen urgently at the hospital which worries me as I thought polyps were nothing to worry about. My mother's stomach has been bloated for several months and she was admitted to hospital as they suspected a bowel blockage. She was then re- admitted to hospital because of her bleeding as they thought it was coming from her bladder. A cystoscope revealed that her bladder was fine. The bleeding started again and now they have concluded that it is from her vagina. The bloating was addresses by the staff in her nursing home with laxatives and a mechanism which is supposed to relieve her of gas in her stomach but she is still bloated. I am very concerned.
