Hi,

Your pregnancy tests are reliable when taken 10 days after missed period. Since any tests before the period can cause false negative results. Abdominal distention can occur due to bloating, fluid collection, constipation, or any growth. Abdominal ultrasound should be done to rule out any abdominal pathology.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
