Hello ma'am.

Given your age the reason why your ovary was left behind is because your ovaries produce hormones which help in preventing various menopausal symptoms and preventing early menopause, etc.

I would suggest you go ahead with the removal of your ovaries and speak to your docyor about initiating a course of hormone supplements. I am sure you will feel much better after this.

Hope for the best.

Take care.
