Abnormal Heartbeat. Done Shoulder Joint Replacement. Reason?

i ve had a strange heartbeat since I was 10-11.my cardiologist calls it a paranormal heart beat.i feel it when there is going to be a catastrophe,man made or natural disasters.i just had a complete shoulder joint and stem replaced.i feel bijimeny beating 24/7.i know if i get up on those occasions,walk around, i can stop it and reset the rhtymnis there really such a thing as a paranormal hear beat? cynthia sobol

Hi,
No, there is no such rhythm called a paranormal heart beat. You mention bigeminy. This is when there is an abnormal beat every second beat and can occur intermittently. This would appear to be what you are experiencing. This can occur in fit healthy people with no consequence on their health. As you mentioned that you are under the care of a cardiologist then I would assume that your cardiologist is satisfied that you do not need any treatment for this.
