Abnormal Pulse Rate, Tingling And Numbness In Arms And Legs. High Cholesterol

Hi doctor, I am rajesh, 44 years, male. my pulse rate is always 60 sometimes below (58) and maximum 64 only. My problem is always feeling tingling and little numb in my arms and legs. (both right and left) especially at rest. I am not diabetic. and my total chol level is always 220-230. I am a well exercising person and eventhough i cant manage the chol. level without medicine. Is it related to my problem ? Thanks, Rajesh

Your pulse is in lower ranges. Probably normal.
You could go for 24-hour monitoring (Holter) for further analysis.
Your cardiologist will guide.

Numbness is not likely from the heart.
You need to check electrolytes, cervical spine and so on.

The cholesterol is high.
Check LDL (non-HDL)
You will need advice on diet and exercise.
If not controlled in 2 months, you need drugs – probably a statin
Your Internist can guide properly
