Acute To Severe SOB, Chest And Mid Back Pain. Diagnosed Dandy Walker Syndrome As Infant. Chances Of Undiscovered Congenital Heart Problems?
Is it possible for congenital heart problems to remain undiscovered in an adult with Dandy Walker syndrome? My adult daughter is having acute, moderately severe SOB, accompanied by chest and mid back pain. DWS was diagnosed at 3 months of age, with shunt inserted, body asymmetry, cognitive problems throughout her life. She has never been diagnosed with any prior cardiac or respiratory problems.

Breathing disorder itself is associated with DWS.sometimes heart defect is also associated with it.please consult a cardiologist.
