Addicted To Nicorette Quick Mist, Using Way More Than Maximum Dose. Possible Risks?

hi i have been using nicorette quick mist for 2 years now,i am very addicted to it and am using way over the maximum dose.i found out today that this can be dangerous,i just presumed that they had a maximum dose for addiction reasons and not because it can be dangerous and even fatal. sometimes i use 4 sprays a time when the maximum is 2.at my worst i can go through one in about 24 hours, it says there are approx 150 sprays in each one and the maximum is 4 per hour. im starting to become really worried that I am putting myself at risk by using this much. i just want to know what sort of risk im putting myself at?

Hi,

There are three kinds of risks that you are exposing yourself to. One is that of getting dependent on it. The second one is of nicotine intoxication. Excessive intake of nicotine can cause nausea and vomiting, headache, dizziness, excessive salivation, abdominal pain, sweating, hypertension, tachycardia, tremor, muscle twitching and seizures. It may be fatal in severe cases. The third risk is that of all diseases which are more common in people dependent on nicotine, like heart disease, stroke and cancer.

I hope you shall try to quit or at least cut down. Best wishes.
