Addicted To Smoking Cigarettes And Poppers. How Dangerous Poppers Can Be?
Hi, im a 17 yr old male, i smome cigarettes and poppers (marijuana and tobbacco mixed together, smokes out of a plastoc water bote bong) im just curious as to how dangerous poppers can be on one s health. Ive been smoking for 2.5 years, and i want to quit because i constantly worry about health risks, especially cancer . Any information as to what i am doing to myself?
It is nice to know that you want to quit smoking and worry about the implications. As is well-known, tobacco is associated with a higher risk of many disorders like hypertension, heart disease, stroke, and cancer. But many people are not aware of the risks of smoking marijuana and consider it a harmless recreational drug. Recent research shows that heavy use of marijuana in young people, especially children and adolescents, is associated with a high risk of psychosis, which is a seious psychiatric disorder. In addition, it is also associated with a higher risk of cognitive impairment (worsening of intellectual ability) and also bronchial asthma.
I hope you will realise the risks and take appropriate action.
