Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain small sores in the back of throat along with low fever, headache, and mild sore throat seems to be due to viral infection and as it is 5 days there seems to be nothing serious and you need not to worry as the symptoms will subside once the virus will complete its course in body..
As the viral infection does not subside with antiviral medication the treatment given is symptomatic to relieve the symptoms..
I would suggest you to start taking Tylenol to reduce fever and generalized discomfort..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Put analgesic ear drops..
Do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day..
Do steam inhalations and suck ice pops..
Chew a Vitamin C pellet daily..
Take a soft diet and avoid spicy and hard foods..
Drink plenty of warm water and take sufficient rest..
In case if there is no resolution in a week consult a General Physician and get evaluated and a throat swab culture and blood tests can help in ruling out the cause and treated accordingly..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
