After Having Successful Heart Catheterization, How Can A Person Die Due To Cardiogenic Shock
Hi, My dad had a heart catherization, went well, no blockages, he later became confused and was given ativan, he had the hiccups non stop and was given thorazine which had been used on him before for this. The doctor was called and said my dad died of cadiogenic shock and I just can t understand why

Cardiac arrhythmias, an arterial dissection, a cardiac perforation, are complications that can lead to cardiogenic shock after a cath, but again, I cannot tell for sure if your father suffered one of these.
