After How Many Days Of Conception UPT Shows Positive Result?

hi, I have 5yrs old baby n now want baby. my menses date is overdue by 8 days.. but UPT is -ve ...I just wanted to know that after how many days of conception UPT can show +ve results...
My Dr. Suggested to take Folinext tablet & repeat UPT after 8 days..

hi upt becomes positive after 14 days of conception so that means within a day or two of missed periods. doctor has asked u for a repeat test because many a times there is a possibility that you could have had delayed ovulation and hence conceived late so in that case it will take time for your upt to come positive. if upt negative even after 8 days then it is only due to hormonal imbalance and you can take tab devry 10 mg twice a day for 5 days and you ll get your periods within a week. all the best take care.
