After Taking A Herbal Cleanser Pill And Face Wash, Small Bumps On One Side Of Face. Taking Erythromycin, Benzoyl Peroxide Facewash. Should I Continue?
After taking a herbal cleanser pill, and a clean and clear blakhead face wash. Within a couple weeks noticed very fine small bumps on one side of my face. Shortly after couple weeks went to have facial by esthetician. Didnt get better. Now been prescribed erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide face cream. Been using almost two weeks, see slight improvement. Should I continue?
You seem to have developed acne due to use of face wash.
You have been given apt treatment for acne and since you have seen slight improvement, you can continue it for 2-3 months or even more if required but keep in touch with your doctor while taking the treatment.
In addition you can do as follows: -Wash your face with salicylic acid based face wash twice a day. -Don't use any new product for on face without discussing with your doctor. -You may take a few sessions of chemical peels. -Don't pick or pop the bumps as they may lead to spots and scars.
Hope this helps you.
