Hi, the headache might be due to the anxiety, hypertension, fever etc. I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such a head ache prescribe alprazolam, paracetamol, metachloparamide, and if B>P. is high adjust the dose of the hypertensive drug. Thank you.

Hello,
VALSARTAN is known to cause headache in 8-10 % of people using this drug.
You may consult your doctor and get the prescription revised.
If headache doesn't stop after stopping VALSARTAN,then consult a neurilogist for proper examination and investigations to look for the cause.

Diabetologist Dr. Pratap VGM's  Response
Dear sir/madam

Head ache is caused both due to low blood pressure and high blood pressure.
1. Blood pressure are high - it might be caused due to high blood pressure.
2. Amlodepine is a calcium channel blocker is known to cause pulsating headache.

Valsartan is a alpha receptor blocker group which is known to cause angioedema or hyperkalemia which is also known to cause headache and cough.
So you can try to change the medicines for hypertension which might be belonging to different group.

Thanks
