Alcohol Addict. Taken Acamprol And Prodip. Why Does He Feel Disoriented?

Sir,
My husband is taking alcohol for the last many years and now it has become his requirement. I consulted with Dr banerjee, he suggest him the following tablets: ACAMPAROL; PRODIP; RESPIDINE; ODIVIT, ZEVIT

I have been giving him these tablets since June 16, 2013, yes his alcohol comsumption is slightly less BUT he feels disoriented from his work and at times behaves like a kid. Please suggest as t how long I should continue these medicines.
