Alternative For Seroquel For Insomnia That Does Not Cause Weight Gain?

hi, i am on seroquel for sleep/anxiety, im also bipolar on other meds, i would like to change this medication as over the years i have gained 25kilo, i did not know it was a weight gainer, what is a good replacement medication for seroquel as i suffer insomnia, thanks Tracey

Hello
Oxcarbazepine in dose of 300mg - 1500mg daily, in divided doses can be tried in place of seroquel.
There are other choices as well but almost all others give weight gain.

This is relatively safe and few side effects, and controls bipolar disorder as well. It is a mood stabilizer.
