Am I Balding? What Are The Patches There?

Hello. I am not quite sure how to explain. But it feels as if I am balding, which is horrible because I am a 21 year old female. Whenever I pull my hair back to make a ponytail, these hairless parts of my scalp appear, at least they are not completely hairless, but my scalp becomes visible. They are not so much patches as that they are lines that. Maybe I have a vitamin deficiency or maybe its something else? Or am I overreacting and is this something that a lot of people have? I would like to get some answers.

hi i think hairless bald patches ithe scalp is called alopecia areata.it is got varied etiology.i think it is immunological.nutritional and autoimmune disorders can also be attributed with it.it is associated with thyroid disorders or pernicious anaemia.

Pull out test is main test to confirm it where we will able to see exclaimatory hair.it can be treated with pulse therapy of steriods like betametamethasone 2 mg twice a week for 4-6 weeks.application of clobetasol lotion, melanocyl lotion and follica hair tincture and minoxidil may work.
if not cured by all this procedures go for intralesional triancilone acetonide once in fortnight for 3 to 4 times
