I think I might have herpes2 which was passed on from my husband. He is waiting on results but in the mean time I think I might have affected my daughter during child birth. How do I deal with this with her, will she have to be on medication if she have it, will she have behavior problems, will this shorten her life. I'm lost can someone help with answers..

HI
Thanks for posting your query .

Herpes is a contagious disease and there is a high chance that your kid might have got it if it's a vaginal delivery .

First thing you need to do is get yourself tested for Herpes and if you are tested positive get treatment from a physician . Also if tested positive consult a pediatrician as your child also requires to be treated.
