Am I Pregnant If I Have Missed My Menstruation For Three Months?
Hello. I ve missed my menstral cycle going on three months now. I ve taken 2 HPTs and both gave a faint positive sign and just today I had a blood test done which came back negative. I would like to know is there a possiblilty that I could be pregnant or is there something else that might be going on?

If you have missed period for 3 months and test is faintly positive than its better to do beta hCG levels in blood and ultrasound pelvis. If beta hCG is negative than it implies that there is no pregnancy. If low levels of beta hCG are present than repeat beta hCG after 48 hours. If beta hCG is lower than earlier than it. indicates pregnancy has gone and if beta hCG is rising than it indicate pregnancy is there and growing. (If increase is more than double than it indicates intrauterine pregnancy and if not than pregnancy is outside the uterus).

I think that there is a chance of pregnancy so I suggest that since you have a faint line in hCG, do a blood hCG test, 2 tests 2 weeks apart, if the value is rising there is chances of pregnancy but if the value is falling then chances are less.
