Hi,
Emergency pills offer 99 percent safety when taken within 6-12 hours after an intercourse. This would hold good even if you were ovulating at that period. A withdrawal bleeding may be seen soon after the pill intake in the majority, but is absent in some. You can expect your next normal period to get delayed by a week or two as the high hormone content in the drug is enough to disrupt the normal hormonal milieu of the body. Please see a specialist for further help if you do not see your next period even ten days after it is due. Hope this helps.
