Am I Pregnant With Frequent Urination In Spite Of Taking Birth Control?

Hi, i am really worried. I am 18 years old and i am on birth control (yasminelle). i take it religiously every day. 2 weeks i ago i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, we are both clean and healthy. He 'pulled out' just in time before he ejaculated. From the day after until now (almost 3 weeks on) i have been feeling ill. I have looked at other possible reasons why i am feeling so sick, stress as i have exams, and also PMS as i am due my period this week. One symptom of pregnancy i noticed was excessive urinating which i have but i have a history of having a reflux in both my kidneys causing bladder problems. Am i pregnant? or is it something else? please answer soon!

Hello dear,i understand your concern.In my opinion the failure rate is very less if the hormonal pills are taken correctly.So the chances of pregnancy are rare as there was no irregular intake and the ejaculation was also not done.And the symptoms of pregnancy dont start immediately after having intercourse.So the frequent urination might be due to urinary tract infection.Take adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres, coconut water,cranberry juice to prevent urinary infection.And if not subsiding urine examination might be necessary.
