Am I In Labor As I Have Contractions And Bleeding?
im 39 weeks pregnant and just had intercourse for the first time in a long time... i am bleeding and its red and I m having contractions every few minutes that are intense and last some time.... i just had a doctors appointment today and they said i was only 1 cm dilated and that my cervix was not thinning out... the question is should i go to the hospital? am i in labor?

Hi,
From history it seems that process of labor has started as opening of cervix with uterine contraction is started.
Remain in follow up with your Obst and it is better to admit in hospital.
