An Ultrasound Scan Done By The Radiologist Reveals A Well

An Ultrasound scan done by the Radiologist reveals a well defined, anechoic cortical cyst at the upper pole of my left kidney measuring 11x18 mm. Thin eccentric calcifications noted. No other solid components or internal vascularity. No renal masses identified. There are no renal or ureteric calcului. No hydrocalycosis, hydronephrosis or hydroureter seen. What does all this indicate? I will be seeing my Urologist on the 26th November. I underwent a successful prostate surgery for an enlarged prostate in July this year. Thanks.
