Anomaly Scan Shows Inadequate Liquor In Sac. Can Gyargin Powder Be Taken Without Prescription?

Hi Doctor , I had Anamoly scan(21 weeks 2 days Pregnant ,I carry twin ) .. done yesterday ..Doctor said there is inadequate Liquour in Sac and asked me to drink at least 4.5 Ltrs of liquid in the form of buttermilk ,vegetable soup etc.. When I browsed the net I came across this Gyargin Powder to increase the Liquor ....Is it advisable to take the powder without doc prescribtion ?

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

I would not do anything that your doctor has not specifically requested. Given that they are more knowledgeable about your situation, any extra supplements should be run by them to be sure. It is concerning that there is 'low fluid' in at least one of the amniotic sacs. You need a detailed anatomy ultrasound of both fetuses and close followup.
