Anxious, Depressed. Had Hysterectomy 2 Years Back. Treatment?

Hello, yes. I had a hysterectomy two years ago. I still have one ovary but I'm noticing that something just seems to be off lately as far as my moods, sexual drive, etc. I'm feeling anxious, depressed, etc. I'm not on any hormonal medication, but is it uncommon to feel this way after it's already been two years?
Thanks!

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic

Frequent mood swings, anxiety, low sexual desire can be due to underlying depression. You have undergone hysterectomy about two year back so it is uncommon to have symptoms due to hormonal imbalance. But if you are in middle age then hot flushes may be a reason of these symptoms. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for evaluation of symptoms.

Thanks
