Any Advice For An Athletic 65 Yo Woman For Experiencing Left Side High Stomach Pain Impacting Breathing, Aching Muscles?
I am a fairly athletic 65 yr. old woman travelling in New Zealand.
4 th day of experiencing increasing left side high stomach pain, impacting my breathing as well as aching muscles.
We went to the hosptal yesterday, doctor thought i have epigastic, possible gastritis and gave me actrail of mylanta.

If you are improving with antacid it is ok. Next step to be taken is ultra sound abdomen. It can scan liver, gallbladder, stomach, duodenum, colon, intestine and kidney. Any growth. in these part canbe detected or excluded. Other procedure are endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy etc. All these test are to be done as per requirement as per advice of gastro enterologist.
