Any Advice For Chest Pain Since 3 Yrs With Inability To Breathe Deep?

HI DR SAMUEL ,I AM SUFFERING FROM A CHEST PAIN AND I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP.I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO ANY HARD WORK FOR OVER 3YEARS NOW.I ALSO FIND IT DIFFCULT TO TAKE IN DEEP BRITH.SIR I DO NOT MONEY RIGHT NOW ,AND NO HEALTH INSURANCE,SIR I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP.

Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you zhould atleast get done these 3 tests.1 ECG 2 Chest x ray and 3 Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). These are badic test to rule our cardiac and pulmonary causes for your chest pain. ECG will tell you about cardiac cause like IHD. Chest x ray will tel you about any infection or pleural effusion is there or not and PFT will tell you about bronchtis part. If all these reports are normal than you must be having musculoskeletal pain. So consult your doctor and discuss these things.
