Any Advice On Heaviness And Pain In The Left Lower Abdomen, Leaking Stitches Of Appendectomy Done 6 Months Ago?

I had an appendectomy 6 months ago. After 4 weeks of surgery I started to feel heaviness in left lower abdomen and pain in left thigh. 3 days before stitches of surgery has started to itch and yesterday pus has leaked from the stitches. I have no fever or nausea. Please advice.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Its a scar infection... show it to your surgeon...either its a deep infection of the bowel or something is left inside, and got infected.
