Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
Your diabetes is not smoothly controlled that is blood sugar level is fluctuating from time to time .
When blood sugar level is high, Glycosylated Hemoglobin level increases it gives you idea about average level of blood sugar.
It is good that your food habits are good and you exercises daily.
You should visit a Endocrinologist and discuss for use of Basal insulin to have better control of FBS and PPBS once your diabetes is well controlled for long time level of HbA1C decreases and it should be around 7%.
Please take care.
Good Luck.
