Any Ideas About Pimples On Leg After Getting Tattoo?

I was tattooed on my ankle over a month ago. I had many pimples all around my tattoo for the first few weeks. I assumed it was from the shaving and wiping and constant lotioning than was causing my already sensitive skin to react. It has progressively gotten much better and my tattoo has healed nicely but I still am getting one or two pimples on the same leg in different spot between my knee and ankle. I usually have at least one at all times sometimes two. They go away on their own and I keep thinking it s over and then another one pops up. They develop white heads and some pop. It is itchy right before the pimple surfaces. I have tried different lotions and different soaps and it has not affected the area. I work in the shop I was tattooed in and they are highly reputable, professional and clean. Any ideas?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

Looks like chronic infection to me....take a course of simple antibiotics like amoxicillin...it should go...if not... get a blood sugar test done.
