hello i had few pimples in my teens, but now at the age of 24 my pimples have increased suddenly. i was taking ayurvedic treatment for two months but that didnt help much in controlling acne. My face now have scars and whiteheads. I have just started taking azitheral 250 mg( 3 times a week) and pernox 5% cream ( twice a day) and clindamycin at night. does this medicine is apt for me?. n can it remove scars? how long i have to wait to see the difference?
I can understand your concern for pimples on your face. Acne or pimples are youth related problem and is not a disease per say.
A gel containing clindamycin phosphate 1.2% w/w and tretinoin gel can be very helpful to you for long term. The only precaution you should follow is to apply the cream in very thin layer and that too over affected area only.
In your kind of acne the best treatment is by isotretinoin capsules under strict dermatological supervision only.
Take a proper guidance and follow up with a good dermatologist so that all the problem of acne can be dealt best for future time. Face clean up from a parlor are not at all effective in the treatment of acne and can even make the situation worsened.
Take care
