Any Suggestion For Blindness, Muscle Weakness, Opening Eyes Only Using Hands?

hi i have a family member who suffer from blindness and certain muscle weakness due to a huge head injury, he can see in only one eye but the problem is that he needs to open his eye by holding it up with his hand,doctors said that his brain cells are damaged by the accident, i just want to know if with time these cells can reconfigured and his eyelid may open ?

Hello
It seems from the history that your family member is having blindness, muscle weakness... These symptoms indicate probably third cranial nerve injury as a result of head injury.
The nerve palsies usually improve over 3-6 months and the amount of recovery depends on the severity of injury. However if the optic nerve responsible for vision is affected it cannot recover.
Hence I advice you to get examination done by your doctor to know the details of nerves involved.
